Sex in the City
So I finally got around to seeing Sex in the City with my closest Baltimore friends last night. I think we were the only people under 50 who had not seen it yet.
After celebrating our first girls night out in 6 months over dinner and drinks we made our way over the the theater to see a movie 4 years in the making and man it did not disappoint. The clothes, the shoes, the jewelry…all fabulous and over the top, just the way I like it. Some critics argue the story line was a little too heavy for Sex in the City, but it was just what we were looking for. For the first time Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha seemed to related to women all over the word, not just the city scene. The universal hardships of women were displayed in between buying Manolos and a pent house suite. We cried and laughed and talked through the whole thing and there wasn’t a thing I would change, about the movie or the night out.
