Fabulous Flats
I LOVE flats! Paten, pointy, patterned, suede, studded, you name it, I love it and I buy it. So I was so thrilled this evening when I was flipping through Lucky Magazine (that was generously lent to me since it has NOT arrived at my new address) when I saw that the shoes of the month where…pointy flats! And not just plain jane flats, but violet suede ones with gold studs on the flap by Tibi and laser-cut eyelet lace looking red leather ones by French Sole. But my favorite were the gorgeous Oscar de la Renta ones with deep jewel tone colors in an ikat pattern. They are a great way to incorporate one of fall’s strongest trends, luscious jewel tone colors, into your fall wardrobe.
Another great thing about this month’s issue? The last page was dedicated to shopping in Federal Hill!! While I have been to all of the featured boutiques, it is great too see them get the exposure. Too many times the Washington DC shopping scene takes over the Baltimore area.
