Our favorite spot for H&M-ing, Nordstrom-ogling, and food courting, Towson Town Center adds quality retail right in time for the holiday rush. Our insider source shared tidbits on six new locations.

Burberry
Burberry is in the house, for one cool (plaid) thing. The luxury British fashion house offers a full range of clothing for men and women, and fine accessories—amazing handbags, shoes, eyewear, jewelry and fragrance. The huge woven leather Lowry bag is a must-ask-for this season.

Martin + Osa
Developed by American Eagle Outfitters, Martin + Osa features refined casual clothing and accessories for men and women, 28 to 40. Designed to be somewhat more adventurous—and more mature—than American E., the brand features a moderate price point on cashmere, corduroy and other sophisticated casuals. Great gift buys in store.

The Pottery Barn
Carrying lovely furniture and home décor, handsome couches, imaginative lighting, cozy bedding, bath elements, and more, now calls Towson home. Such a handy resource for homeowners who mall it!

Swarovski
Masters of precision-cut crystal glass, Swarovski has set up sparkling shop inside the center. The store packs glorious figurines and an array of delicate, special jewelry as well. The annual Swarovski Christmas ornament, engraved with the year, is a popular favorite. The 2008 offering is an exquisite snowflake hanging from a blue satin ribbon.

P.F. Chang’s
Everybody’s favorite American Chinese chain restaurant, P.F. Chang’s food rocks a fun, upscale dining environment. It’s all about the easy experience at Chang’s, the satisfying treats, the authentic art and comfortable, upbeat setting. Stationed along the sidewalk at TTC, the restaurant incorporates the neighborhood’s walkability factor.

The Cheesecake Factory
With more than 200 menu selections, appetizers, pizza, pasta, seafood, and 50—count ‘em, 50—types of cheesecakes and other desserts, The Cheesecake Factory is an addition we’ve been craving. Another sidewalk locale, some outdoor dining will be available here too. Hooray for sweet stuff!
Special spaces on the way include Lacoste, coming in 2009, Bose, BCBG Max Azria, Stoney River Legendary Steaks and Lush from the UK for fresh bath products and cosmetics.
