Top salons in Baltimore will participate this fall in Spa Week, a nationwide effort by the spa industry to draw more people into the wonders of spa treatments by offering high-end treatments for only $50! “We want to make wellness more than just a word by introducing the health benefits of the spa lifestyle,” says Lindsey Gockenbach, media director of Spa Week. Spa Week is scheduled for October 15 - 21, but salons begin taking reservations on Sept. 17, so set your speed dial now. The heavily discounted Spa Week services typically have a value of about $120. “It’s a great opportunity for first-timers to try a spa or for the already spa-savvy to try a new treatment.”
A portion of all Spa Week proceeds benefits Cancer and Careers, a non-profit organization for working women with cancer.
