Hanging Tough
Buff Girl Diana Daly trains her sights on health. She knows firsthand that exercise and nutrition can heal the body and the mind. Despite a diagnosis of diabetes (type 1) in 2000 and breast cancer in 2003, she opts for a regular workout that invigorates her spirit as it challenges her stamina and builds her strong body. Pilates, a method of physical movement designed to stretch, strengthen and balance the body, is her first-choice exercise these days. She is shown, at left in the “Hand-Stand on the Ladder Barrel.”
