What makeup and hair products do you require before leaving the house?
I wear Mac Hyper Real Foundation, Mac Fluidline eyeliner in black, and Bed Head Superstar Blow Dry Lotion.
What are some wonder products you’re currently recommending to clients?
Bed Head Superstar Blow Dry Lotion for big sexy hair, Paul Mitchell Super Skinny for frizzy, unmanageable hair, and Alfaparf Nutri Seduction line for straightening or boosting curly hair.
How can we perk up our hair for spring?
Take a couple inches off that scraggly long hair you’ve been growing out, and that will allow you to look fresh and crisp for spring. Maybe add a long swooping bang for a little extra sass.
Any advice for that awkward “I’m growing my hair out” phase?
Invest in some cute stylish scarves to get you through!
What about refreshing hair/makeup product tips in honor of spring?
Try a tinted moisturizer followed with a light bronzer on the cheeks, nose and chin, for a glowing fresh-faced look. On your hair, a product like PM Super Skinny for humidity and a good spray like Alfaparf Semi di Lino Spray or Sebastian Shaper Plus to battle spring wind!
What are some fun, “now” hair colors for spring?
Rich chocolates, bright blondes—dimensional color!
Should we be washing our hair with the expensive stuff?
You need to find a shampoo that is not too aggressive for your hair type. And if you’re color treated, protect it! Do not skimp on a color treated shampoo and conditioner.
What’s your shampoo?
Alfaparf Splendore di Fiori di Lino.
Are there certain hair products we shouldn’t bother to splurge on?
I always try to invest in quality products—the price isn’t necessarily important. Never skimp on a good flat iron—CHI or GHD (both ceramic). It’ll save your hair!
